Public pages and server records

Web requests may generate hosting and security logs, including IP address, requested URL, request time and browser information. Contact us for information about the server’s current logging and retention settings. This notice does not promise anonymous browsing.

Contact and evidence

If you email us, we receive your address, message and attachments. We use them to respond, review evidence and handle corrections. Do not send sensitive information unnecessarily. Publication of identifying material requires appropriate permission and review.

Founder draft tool

The separate browser draft tool stores answers in local storage on the browser you use. It does not submit them to the server. Anyone with access to that browser profile may be able to read them. Exported files remain under your control. Clear the site’s browser data to remove stored drafts.

Published contributions

Approved entries can display the author’s name, role and contribution. Contact us about corrections, removal requests or changes to publication permission. Public material may have been copied or archived by others.

Payments

Online contributions are not currently enabled in this release. Before payment collection begins, this notice must explain the actual provider, transaction records, retention and recurring-payment management. Never send card details by email.

Visits

Public pages record a first-party cookie named cx_vid. It identifies a browser, not a named person. We store the page path and the seconds that page was visible, and we use those records to count unique visitors and average time on the site. The public footer shows those totals and the number of confirmed events-brief readers. We do not use a third-party marketing tag. Query strings are not stored. If the counter is unavailable, the footer omits the figures.

Events brief

If you ask for the events brief, we store your email address, the cadence you chose (daily, weekly, or monthly), the time you consented, and whether you confirmed or later opted out. We send a confirmation message before any brief. Only a confirmed address that is still subscribed receives mail. Each message has an unsubscribe link. We do not sell this list.

External services

Some pages request fonts from Google Fonts. Source links lead to other organisations with their own privacy practices. The events brief is sent through the domain’s own mail host.
